Waterstreet Studio, a regional landscape architecture firm with offices in Richmond and Charlottesville, is currently seeking talented landscape architects with 0-5 years of experience to join our team.  

Our current commissions include urban design, institutional campus planning/design, public park and museum campuses, and botanical gardens. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, willing to work collaboratively, and dedicated to creating thoughtful and authentic landscapes.  

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include, but are not limited to:

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.

• Advanced competency in hand sketching, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

• Proficiency in 3-dimensional modelling, writing reports, and general correspondence.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues to perform expected duties.

Job Description The Landscape Architect/Designer is expected to work alongside the firm’s Principals, Project Directors, and his/her/their peers in the design and management of projects.   Key elements of the position may include:

• Design and Production – develop analytical and illustrative site analysis graphics, precedent studies, and related materials; develop conceptual and schematic design sketches; develop Design Development and Construction Documents for review, approvals, bidding, and construction; attend and present at client and community meetings
