Waterstreet Studio, a regional landscape architecture firm with offices in Richmond and Charlottesville, is currently seeking talented landscape architects with 0-5 years of experience to join our team.
Our current commissions include urban design, institutional campus planning/design, public park and museum campuses and botanical gardens . We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, willing to work collaboratively and dedicated to creating thoughtful and authentic landscapes.
Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:
Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
Advanced competency in hand sketching, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Proficiency in 3-dimensional modelling, writing reports, and general correspondence.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues to perform expected duties.
Job Description The Landscape Architect/Designer is expected to work alongside the firm’s Principals, Project Directors and his/her peers in the design and management of projects. Key elements of the position may include:
Design and Production – develop analytical and illustrative site analysis graphics, precedent studies and related materials; develop conceptual and schematic design sketches; develop Design Development and Construction Documents for review, approvals, bidding and construction; attend and present at client and community meetings
