The campus master plan for William Monroe Middle and High Schools in Stanardsville, VA, improved both vehicular and pedestrian connections between four schools. The renovation included a new arrival sequence, enhancing circulation for buses, drop-offs, and parking. Courtyards, outdoor classrooms, sensory gardens, and rain gardens offer learning opportunities, while native plants and meadows promote biodiversity and ecological authenticity. The design incorporates outdoor spaces such as dining terraces, work terraces, and play areas, further supporting agricultural education and providing a vibrant, interactive environment for students and the community.
