Once home to the C&R Auto business on Charlottesville’s Main Street, this site was redeveloped to create an urban courtyard environment with surrounding retail and restaurant uses. Modern detailing and materials were used alongside low maintenance plantings to activate the space and allow for flexible tenant use. The C&R site has since become a popular destination between UVA Grounds and Charlottesville Downtown Mall and catalyzed the development of adjacent properties.
